About B&D Studio
B&D Studio was founded in 2018 by two lifelong friends, Bitujit Debbarma and Dikuyes Debbarma.
Our journey began in 2014 when we first met at Chwng Sa Sa Coaching Centre while studying in Class 10. From the very beginning, we shared a common dream—to create films and tell meaningful stories through visual media.
At that time, we had limited resources and no professional equipment. However, our passion was stronger than our circumstances. By saving money from our school and college stipends, we purchased our very first camera and basic filmmaking gear.
With determination and creativity, we produced our first short film, "JORA NI KHUMBAR," which was released on the LAMKU PRODUCTION YouTube channel. The story was written and directed by our college teacher, Aijak Debbarma Sir. The film received encouraging responses, positive feedback, and valuable support from viewers, inspiring us to continue pursuing our dream.
Despite our passion, the lack of funding and production support made it difficult to continue producing films and short films. To sustain our journey, we shifted our focus to wedding and event photography and videography.
We still remember our very first wedding project, for which we earned just ₹3,000. From that humble beginning, we worked tirelessly, reinvesting every opportunity into better cameras, equipment, and skills. Through dedication, hard work, and the trust of our clients, B&D Studio gradually earned recognition across Tripura.
Today, we continue to grow with the same passion that started our journey years ago. We are grateful for the love, support, and trust of our clients and well-wishers. As we move forward, our goal remains the same—to create meaningful visual stories, deliver exceptional quality, and inspire others through our work.
